Living the Symphony: Finding Harmony Amidst Life's Close Calls

Living the Symphony: Finding Harmony Amidst Life's Close Calls

Today I want to share a little journey through the twists and turns of life – a tale that, much like music, has its highs and lows, but ultimately weaves a beautiful melody.

This week, death almost knocked twice on the door of my world, reminding me of the fragility of life.

Now, I'm not one to dwell on the negative, but these close calls have sparked a new tune in my heart, a symphony of gratitude and conscious living.

The first encounter with mortality happened on a chilling Monday night. A dear friend and colleague narrowly escaped a car accident that left the vehicle in ashes. He's a champ, showing up to work the next day after a hospital visit. Yet, it was a moment of reflection – what if he hadn't escaped? What if I were writing a different post altogether?

The second brush with fate occurred on a Tuesday night. There was news of explosions in the city where my family lives. What if their story had ended here? What if?

We often hear the clichés about making every moment count and living like there's no tomorrow. Yes, they're vital, but I propose we elevate ourselves to a new stage – living a blessed legacy.

Imagine if this moment were your last – what footprint would you leave behind? Not the kind they read at funerals, but the day-to-day, moment-to-moment legacy of your existence. Are you grateful for everyone and everything? Do you realise that in the grand orchestra of life, you are a blessing?

I'm all about crafting a blessed legacy now. Every second, I want to live consciously, aware of the testimonial life I'm leading. I aim to leave behind a footprint that echoes in the universe's heart, a melody that endures long after the music fades.

As musicians, we understand that the journey is never a straight line. It's a composition of highs and lows, unexpected turns, and the occasional dissonance. The struggles of being a musician, the hardships that come with chasing a dream – they are all part of the melody.

Yet, amidst these struggles, we find reasons to fight for another moment, another verse. We discover that life's detours, much like musical improvisations, bring a unique beauty to the composition. So, let's ride the rhythm of life, appreciate the music in every heartbeat, and savor the symphony of existence. After all, death might have, but we are, blessed, alive, and ready to play the next chord.

Stay Crowned,
