MATI 2026: Music at the Intersection

St. Louis' signature music festival and conference returns July 17–19, 2026, in the Grand Center Arts District — with a Jon Batiste kickoff concert at The Fabulous Fox on July 16 stretching it to a four-day run.

Now in its sixth year, MATI brings 100+ performances across five main stages, a free community block party down Washington Avenue, and programming rooted in St. Louis' deep musical heritage. The 2026 lineup spans generations and genres: Wyclef Jean, Killer Mike, Zapp featuring Tuxedo, PJ Morton, Big Freedia, Destin Conrad, Moonchild, and LA LOM.

It's equal parts festival and industry gathering — a model worth watching for anyone building roots-driven, community-funded events.
