Stories Not Fit For The Stage – An Anthology
Stories Not Fit For The Stage – An Anthology is the second book from Duncan Fremlin, featuring 56 stories by 37 authors including Adrienne Clarkson, Jim Cuddy and Gordon Lightfoot. It's a collection of tall tales, confrontations, anecdotes and encounters — some accidental, some not — with music and entertainment figures, all contributed by the Canadians who were in the room. Fremlin jokes it might have been called "Name Dropping 101," as the stories are about or written by Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, Prince, Steve Martin, Bob Hope, Farley Mowat, Mr. Dressup, Ani DiFranco, the Hells Angels, Stompin' Tom Connors and many more.

The book sells for $20 in person or $30 by mail in Canada, available at www.helloOutThere.ca or by e-Transfer to info@helloOutThere.ca.
About Duncan Fremlin:
For 47 years, Duncan Fremlin has been the singer, banjo player and leader of Whiskey Jack, one of the most celebrated roots/country/bluegrass bands in Canadian music history, with nine critically acclaimed recordings, nationally charted radio hits and Country Music Awards nominations. In the 1980s, the band was featured weekly on CBC TV's Tommy Hunter Show, where their segment "The Ol' Back Porch" caught the attention of a temporarily retired Stompin' Tom Connors. Duncan continues to tour with Whiskey Jack and their long-running show, Stories & Songs of Stompin' Tom. A born raconteur and producer (Banjodunc Productions), Fremlin published his first book, My Good Times With Stompin' Tom, in 2018 — with over 1,600 copies sold — and follows it now with Stories Not Fit For The Stage – An Anthology.
